    I've heard that tomorrow, friday the 10th, could be the deadline for a SEC announcement on the ETF.

    That's what many different websites are saying anyway.

    If such is the case, what time should we expect an announcement?

    I have to admit I'm excited about this & can't wait to see what the word is.

    The link U2 mentions shows announcements at different times, so unfortunately I don't think we can know. I hope they have good servers because a lot of us are going to be hitting F5 at it all day tomorrow. ;-)

    The news may not come until Monday. They do have all of tomorrow to finalize the decision.

    I guess the decision is already taken and it will be announced online (on their official website) anytime during a day. I am following up community's opinion about this decision and I have seen mixed reactions so far. This upcoming decision will surely put some impact on the price of the bitcoin for the short term.

    It cannot be on Monday, because that would be past the deadline set for the 11th of March 2017. Expect something during working hours today and if that does not happen, then a unlikely "default" yes decision would be accepted, because no decision was made.

    On the particular day, people can expect the announcement anytime. Let's hope for a positive word from the two juries who have been given the role to analyze the long back application of the twin brothers.

    Whatever SEC's decision will be, it won't be bad for us. ETF will be accepted sooner or later.
    Most likely we won't see ETF approval, but that is ok, it should give us more time to buy and gather more BTC.
    Positive outcome will cause the price of BTC to rise now so buying or earning BTC will be harder because of that.

    I am not sure about the time but i dont agree with previous posters who have said it has to be today, apparently there is some rule that allows them to put it of till monday when it falls on a Friday.

    Not 10th march 2017 but 13th march 2017. We have to trade careful because the expectation on the outcome of the ETF is high but I can tell you the price movement is going to be a short term. The ETF approval will be the best thing that will happen to bitcoin right now as all eyes are on the sec decision.

    FWIW I ran across a graph someone made of SEC decisions by hour over on reddit a few hours ago. It shows a rising trend through the morning, about a 3 hour lull over lunch (LOL), and then starts out low again before rising to the highest point in the late afternoon.

    It will be really easy to find out if it was approved. If approved, Cumstain and Tyloser Winkledouche will be all over the media bragging about the one great investment they made out of dozens of losers. If not approved - deafening silence.

    A few whales will get beached, and then they will explode from there own internal gas expansion.

    You'd think some bitcoin holders only have one year to live since they want to get rich so quick.
