We would like to ask all Bitcore users to slowly but surely upgrade to the new system.
To do so, please follow these steps:
1. Open your Bitcore core Bitcore-QT wallet.
2. Create a backup of your wallet.dat and store it in a safe place. For example a USB-Stick that you later put in a safe-deposit box.
3. Download the latest wallet and replace the wallet.dat that will be created on startup with your old wallet.dat
4. Bitcore-QT will automatically create new public keys for your private keys, starting with 2xxx instead of 1xxx.
5. It is important to note, that you can only use your old public keys to send to other old addresses and vis versa - you can send only to the new format from the new format. The address formats are not interchangeable.

What should I do if I want to send my coins to the exchange after upgrade the public key? The addresses on the exchange have not been updated yet.

This is very problematic the way it is being implemented. I am leaving my coins in the old wallet until this is all ironed out.

this is number one rule for #HODL
but keep in my mind that always do that with funds that you might not need in near future, because in that case, you may face huge loss

ok. if i get this right, i can send coins from my new address to an old style adresses just converting the old address to a new style?

Recommended tx fees in the new version is 0.02BTX/kb again... Where is "lowest transaction fee" bla-bla-bla? Who posted a tx fee comparation here? You are wrong now.

In my 0.15.1 wallet i see only 0.02BTX as a recommended tx fee  

By the way, after upgrade, in receive addresses i don't see any addresses. Should I create a new one? I thought there should be my converted addresses.

When you installed the wallet and downloaded the blockchain again, the list of your addresses disappeared. But you can see it in management of inputs.

Actually we don't need to download the blockchain again. Once we install the new Bitcore QT wallet application, the blockchain is synced automatically.
