The solarcoin cap is currently around $6 million, but that is just pocket change compared to the bitcoin cap of over $28 billion. Even litecoin has a cap of more than $1 billion. So a cap of $6 million is quite small. When this coin hits a cap of $60 million, then you'll be kicking yourself for not getting in the market sooner...

I've got a few solar panels and didn't even know about this project. Thanks for bringing it to my attention. I'm going to have to look at this coin a little bit closer, but it looks like it may have a little bit of room to grow. Also, the fact that you can get free coins if you have verified your solar production is pretty neat.

Oh really? I didn't see anything about that on their site. Definitely going to have to look into it. The panels are already making me a bit of bitcoins, it's gonna be really sweet if I can get a bit more out of them just by having them.
