    Let's wonder a little. The year is 2057.

    (By the way, Chris Pratt is the POTUS, sorry about that)

    How do you imagine yourself with your bitcoins? How do you imagine the World you'll live in related to the cryptos?

    Blockchain rules the world (from elections to the way your grandchildren interact with friends) and BTC is everywhere? Another crypto that does not even exist yet is now the king and both blockchain and BTC are seen as a museum piece, such as a steam locomotive?

    in 1957, we don't have computer and TV flat screen.
    so, 2057 is like to watch Alien Covenant ... trailer (synthetic human).

    we travel to mars in 1 journey to hiking and play golf (Total Recall and Time Machine).
    and we travel to others planets like Travellers or Interstellar.

    but perhaps, we are like in Elysium ... ? Living in an artificial STAR over planet Earth ...



    with bitcoin in 2057 .. you can surely build ship.

    I would imagine bitcoin's price value soar up to $500000 or 1 million and it would overcome it's current problems like how it did through all of this years.
    Im sure the community will have an consensus and them decides to implement an scaling solution finally so we can all move forward to that future we all dreamed about. All those altcoins will perish for they are only good for short term.

    In 2057: BitCoin is now owned by a very few people and hence is highly valuable. There are no circulating btc either, very scarcely we see a transaction happening with bitcoin, every is converted to the new king of crypto, which in the back end is centralized, but people are forced to use only that.

    Another 40 years!  I am quite sure we will either have a new crypto/digital currency or many layers built on the current bitcoin blockchain. I think I will only have 50:50 chance (or even much less!) of surviving until 2057...

    That's what I'm thinking too since Bitcoin is limited and will not sustain the demand if used worldwide. Though Bitcoin will still last long.

    This new King of Cryptocurrency which will replace Bitcoin in the future would surely be a lot better and be able to sustain the demands of its users worldwide. Also I expect for the transactions to improve greatly. But when that time comes I'm an old man then  Grin

    Way to long 2057, but if things are any indication Bitcoins will rule the world, everything is going to be automated. Every thing will be done online, or like I imagine at the click of a button. And don't know if any war takes place then God knows how good or bad it will be for the world, but Bitcoin shall just keep on rising. So be it now or 2057 Bitcoin shall keep on rising and making us rich. By the way this should be in the speculation board though. But will we make it to 2057, that's also a big question, in the long run anything can happen, we are not promised about tomorrow!

    How about that: blockchain now is neural implanted. People make financial transactions, receive their wages, everything right in their minds. You buy a Coke, assuming you have enough funds in your mental wallet, just thinking about it.

    I cannot imagine too far ahead in the future because I am not even sure if I am still alive by then. War could have broke and bitcoin or money does not matter anymore. Or bitcoin could be the  major currency and my grandchildren are lucky because I hoarded early. It does not matter, what matters is I use bitcoin today so I can live by the moment.

    Worst case scenario I guess. Cryptocurrencies are the future of money and may see some evolution.
    In my opinion, the transfer of data in 2057 will be through or skin so we will not need any hardware to store and transfer cryptocurrencies. We will simply store them in our body.

    The year of 2057 will be a great year for bitcoin because i think that the countries already adopted bitcoin and a lot of malls and merchants in all around the world is related with bitcoin and they are also accepting payment thru bitcoin. The blockchain is the most main stream technology in 2057 and that is a year that worth to wait.

    I do not think that blockchain is strong enough to survive to that point. Modern technology is growing very fast, it definitely needs a stronger technology, the blockchain is showing its weakness at the moment, so I think another technology will replace it. .

    Barron Trump is the youngest son of Donald Trump. Of course Donald Trump won't be able to stay president for that long, but 40 years from now, Barron Trump will be like 50 years old, since his father is a president, so he is more likely to become a politician too. Barron is just a kid, let him live his life for now.

    Back to the topic, Bitcoin need to survive for 40 years to reach 2057, a huge challenge, if somehow Bitcoin is still survive, I predict Bitcoin will be the world currency, everything about online money will be bitcoin, bitcoin there, bitcoin here.
