I agree with you, i think in 2018 many good news will come to us. Maybe about shipment of monaco card that we have been waiting for long time. MCO price seem now stable over $15

Why not do it that you voluntarily lock the needed amount of MCO and if you for whatever reason decide to sell, you just downgrade the card to the standard free version and your MCO gets unlocked...?
I know you would have a different color of the card, but it shouldn't matter, right?

It does matter. I tried getting a ruby red card with higher perks, but it wasn't possible.

I am recommending you people to keep on hodling till the card ship out and usage as the price is keeping climbing slowly and afraid you mightn't be able to buy bc at the same low price again.

At its lowest ever price, 50k tokens were just USD35k
Now, thats worth of 45BTC .
I could easily earn 50% out of that every month
Locking such an amt means I will be missing out appr. 120 BTC of income for 6 months if I locked that much.
But now, lets forget the black card.
Nobody in their sane mind would do that .
Anyway, the pink or grey card is recommended though . Just 500 MCOs.
The perks are not bad.
I just wana use it for overseas transactions with least fees and other large local purchases.
Converting BTC into Fiat and later, into bank account is troublesome in my country
