I am currently running in the asic window .. 2 jala 20 USB BE and 1 Red Bitfury

All running very smoothly now.

Only thing is to get everything going I need to be explicit and use

-S bigpic:all -S bfl:all -S Icarus:all

Just a side note, when putting bigpic:all last in the line of arguments, bfgminer didn't detect the bitfury device… not sure about this problem since it works perfect in the order above.

Is there Built in Support for these new IceFurys (NFY)? I tried to get them to work, but they weren't recognized.

What version of Mac OS X are you using? I think the cgminer window should work for you, but if you're running 10.9 you'd have to remove the Mac OS USB-Serial drivers which would let cgminer work but prevent bfgminer from working with anything

If using 10.9, to use cgminer with ASIC paste this in terminal and hit return:

sudo kextunload -b com.apple.driver.AppleUSBCDC  && sudo kextunload -b com.apple.driver.AppleUSBCDCACMData && sudo kextunload -b com.apple.driver.AppleUSBCDCACMControl && sudo kextunloadSystem/Library/Extensions/IOUSBFamily.kext/Contents/PlugIns/AppleUSBFTDI.kext

When you restart the computer it will load them again so if you want to only use cgminer on a long term basis you should move and backup those referenced files

If earlier than 10.9 you should be fine to use cgminer window without modifying drivers!

MacMiner 1.5.6 has been built with nwoolls fixes and other bug fixes so this version should allow using Ice Fury miners in the bfgminer and FPGA/ASIC windows

Anything in the FPGA/ASIC window or the CG window should show up automatically, if you're using the BFG window add

--api-listen and --api-allow W:0/0

to the manual flags

Or for a networked miner click add networked miner in api output window and enter an ip like 192.168.1.99:4028

When it displays the getting started bit you can see your email and key right?

Sorry about this but I changed a lot on the backend for 1.5.5 so that API Output would be more efficient and allow monitoring of more than one IP miner - I must have missed something - can you please download this version:

It may help for you guys to install Wireshark and then use that to see what is being sent to MobileMiner. You'd need to disable HTTPS for MobileMiner - not sure if that's an option in MacMiner.

It's not a MobileMiner setting, it's a setting that could/would be in MacMiner to disable HTTPS when communicating with MobileMiner so that you can see the data being sent across.

Done, now the download works but even with this version I cannot add a networked miner to the API Output window.
The behavior is the same.


The Getting Started button simply opens Safari at www.mobileminerapp.com/#gettingStarted.

Great update! My antminer U1's are finally recognized as Ants in OSX under bfgminer for the first time and are running at full speed.

Is there a way to enable overclocking for the U1 devices? To do this I assume I need to run bfgminer from the Terminal, which I tried, however the "bmsc-freq XXXX" command is unrecognized.
