Are there other ICO's out there similar to Blocklancer? I am just curious if there are some competition going on with Blocklancer and others.

Blocklancer is the only platform completely dedicated to improving nowadays freelancing. With for example the Token Holder Tribunal (THT), decision making by the community, and many more. With that we really use the Blockchain as an improvement to the existing systems. This ensures trust between freelancers and clients. There are some someone could consider similar, but they are honestly completely different.
BitJob is quite different, because they describe themselves as "P2P Students Marketplace for Online short-term Jobs". In Blocklancer, it is not just about students and short-term jobs. We are a platform for ALL freelancers and clients and we employ methods (milestones) to also allow big-jobs on the blockchain.
StorMarket on the other side describes themselves as "micro-task marketplace economy". And at the moment it is totally unclear what they are doing at all, because right now there is no technical description of their platform available and also no whitepaper (on their website they state that the whitepaper is coming soon for about
6 weeks!).
The idea of Blocklancer and the technical solution is unique in every way.
