No, no, no! That is inaccurate advice and potentially harmful.
Always listen to what exchanges say, they usually know what they are doing.
This incompatibility is because BCC's ticker at Bitfinex is actually totally different altcoin.
You have to make sure what ticker, for what coin is used. There is a lack of consensus here.
At the beginning bitcoin cash was BCC, nobody noticed that this ticker was already taken, so they switched to BCH. Exchanges did not kept up, to avid confusion[?}...

good job with that.
If you are sure that you sending bitcoin cash to its proper wallet than ticker is without meaning.
You completely misunderstood what I said.. I didn't say transfer Bitcoin Connect to BCH.
I said make sure it is actually Bitcoin Cash addresses that you are sending from and sending to and then
TEST IT FIRST.
Because of the confusion with Ticker symbols some people might be stupid enough to send Bitcoin Connect coins to a Bitcoin Cash addresses and vice versa. They may even be crazy enough to try and send both to their Bitcoin Addresses.
that is why the exchanges are giving out warnings.Like I said.. if you are sending from a Bitcoin Cash to Bitcoin Cash addresses then it should work fine regardless of what the ticker symbol is..
BUT ALWAYS TEST IT FIRST BEFORE YOU ACTUALLY SEND LARGE AMOUNTS OF MONEY.
Jesus H Christ how many years have you guys been using concurrency and you still don't know how they work. Transactions are done on the block-chain they aren't done between exchanges. As long as you confirm that you are on the same chain by testing it first then it should be OK.
but like i said 5 times already
TEST IT FIRST BY SENDING ONLY A TINY AMOUNT
