Yes, to keep the Alpha simple we've only added one exchange. We can easily extend to a lot more exchanges (we're adding them together with an import function for those exchanges).

I'm not sure if I understand, but every exchange has a volume. Some exchanges have more information. The purpose of our backend servers is to take exchanges and convert them into a normalized format (rather than their raw format), meaning we do the conversions and all that in the backend into a unified format.

The current set of functionality is quite limited in the Alpha as we've taken some basic metrics for alerts and such. We'll be integrating much more flexible changes (buy sell volume, time-range to compare against, sudden buy/sell walls at your specified levels, etc). I understand not all exchanges will support all of these, for those these inputs will simply be disabled.
