Better just keep Bitcoin

Imo, I think ICO and basically altcoin trading is the way to go but with very carefully thought decisions. Have to do reseach and see whether it's good investment or not. Thats how I see it, really

That's not what you've written though. Of course one should avoid "shitty" altcoins. But there are plenty of alts that are not shit. Your post made it sound as if Bitcoin was the only good investment in the crypto-markets, which is not true.

That's how I think it can work, just basically trading btc, buying low sell high.

The only option is to invest those bitcoin in altcoin when they are dumping hard like right now. ETH and LTC are in red for months so a good pump in its price is quite guaranteed and even a newbie traders can invest few hundred in them today to get good profit within next few weeks when all this chaos and hype around hardfork and segwit will over.

There is no good investment in Bitcoin other than holding or trading. Gambling will also help you to earn some. However, never invest a single penny in to cloud mining company or in a ponzi scheme. You will end up loosing money and nothing else.

If you don't know much about trading, then just earn bitcoin and hold that in a safe place. That will help you to increase the value over time. But avoid any kind of investment which offers you a daily return of some percentage from your invested amount. They are all ponzi and scam.

For this, you can diversify your bitcoins into different altcoins and tokens. This will reduce the risk and give you the opportunity of getting more profit depending on the altcoins' performance.

You buy bitcoin and you are already at a good investment. Nothing else to do.
But if you want to maximize the profit you would most likely add more than just $500 of it.
If you are thinking of a business I cannot suggest one for there are not much people who are buying something then will pay in bitcoin payment.
If you are thinking about trading then I guess you might want to read more and do some exercises to perfect it.
You cant just go there empty handed or should I say empty minded.

Bitcoin can be a good and safe investment, however, the development of a coin as it is not as fast as the altcoin, you need to spend a lot of time to get the profit margin. Conversely, venturing with the altcoin will help you generate quick profits.
