Hello everyone, I would never have thought that I would be complaining about Stake due to it having a good reputation.

But recently they put my account in ''Withdrawal only'' mode, but the problem is that I still can't withdraw or bet, how is it ''Withdrawal only'' mode? if the user can not withdraw?

A support agent told me that I had problems with clause 4 of the ToS regarding KYC, but when I asked again he couldn't tell me if this was the reason I couldn't withdraw.

Anyway, I don't know how to proceed and it's a complete mess for a casino of this size

As stated on the clause 4 of the ToS:

it looks like Stake requires you to undergo KYC, and I think they made it mandatory to you to comply in order to enjoy the services of the casino again.  Why not comply first and see if the problem is solved, and mostly if there is no problem with KYC, your account status will return to normal.

So far I have used Stake.com and have never had the slightest problem with service or withdrawals just because of a KYC.
Indeed stake sent a message to complete verification in order to be able to claim the bonus but Stake.com does not limit their service and withdrawal transactions to me.
I don't know if it's because I've never made a large amount of withdrawals and wins or what I don't know because what's clear is that I've never had any problems and actually Stake.com has made it easy for all of its customers.

I would be totally supportive of that. I mean when we are talking about something that is limiting the players then it is usually not a great thing for gamblers. I wouldn't say that it is the only thing that would work, but that doesn't mean that it should be abused. Stake had to put some sort of limits into everything, betting on sports games have limits too, I personally can't wager with all my deposit for example, and sometimes it goes as little as like few dollars when certain things happens.

But, I also understand their point of view too, they know that if they just made everything limitless, then there would be people who would abuse that, even know people open multi accounts to abuse it when they can, which is sad, so they are sort of right too.

@len01 I believe that something has triggered their system which has asked them to ask the user to complete KYC, and if he’s legit then he should have no issues with his Stake account post the KYC. Furthermore Stake is a reputed site and many user’s have done their KYC successfully hence one can trust them, and therefore if you’re ever asked for KYC just do it because delaying it makes one looks guilty.
