Why is there a token swap?
The new equity-like CNG token is the first step to make you a legal shareholder and it gives you similar benefits until security tokens will be issued. CNG is an ERC-20 token representing a tokenized loan contract that pays interest tied to the financial success of Change. By swapping your CAG tokens to CNG, you will profit from Change's success, become a shareholder, and get clear legal certainty.
When will the voting period end?
The token swap will happen if at least 51% of the votes cast by the community are in favour of the swap. On December 15th, this voting period ends and the token swap is paused.
What happens next?
If the majority of voters is in favour of the swap, any user who voted yes will see their CAG converted into CNG in the period following December 15th. On January 1st of 2020, the token swap will reopen and CAG holders will be able to swap their tokens to CNG tokens. It is important to note that during the year of 2020, the exchange ratio of CAG:CNG worsens - starting at 1:1 and eventually ending at 1:0.
I seem to have been blocked on their Telegram account, so sadly I have no idea about what's going on and how "successful" this whole project really is...
No idea either about how the community is planning to vote: for or against a swap.
