Shouldn't you be using the dev-messages thing to make all the clients warn their users that there is a new version and whether or not they MUST update to it?
That is kind of the point of that message feature isn't it?
Or does this coin not have such a feature?
By the way, I have set up United SciFi Coin onto the STELLAR network as asset "USF" with anchor (trust line) GBHAQ252S4Z4AQOM4BWIRC3UHAOJIKCZQBUJGD336YH2O7W2NKRXMHA5
It and the other assets I have set up there, including several other sci-fi themed coins, are listed at
http://makemoney.knotwork.com/stellar/I expect to also add the SCI-FI coins, including this one, to the HORIZON network, probably as "assets" rather than "currencies" since creation of "currencies" in Horizon seems to be broken, then you will see them added to my lists at
http://makemoney.knotwork.com/horizon/The advantages of STELLAR over HORIZON are that you can trade anything against anything (platform's native coin, Lumens, do not have to be part of every trading pair) and that fees seem to be tiny. Also, at least in theory, it should enable "converting" any currency/asset to any other currency/asset, given enough pathways (trading pairs).
The advantage of HORIZON over STELLAR is that you do not have to "tie up" native currency to create "trust lines", thus do not need to have native coins (HZ) "tied up' per currency or asset you wish to work with.
Because HORIZON (HZ) does not seem to be on any mainstram, web-based "exchanges" anymore, I have implemented an HZ asset on STELLAR.
