Someone in the Semux trading thread spoke about a snapshot based airdrop for Bitcoin holders. Is this true?

There is an announcement due apparently on December 1st. Keep an eye out here. There was some mention of a snapshot based on btc on arounf Aug 10th - All will be revealed I am sure.

We should wait for the announcement before any speculation so that we can avoid confusion.

Most significant change on the wallet internally is with memory optimization and validator bench. This ensure that we have more stable validators participating in the consensus. Another round of tests can confirm how far can we take this further.

Yes, we will distribute a limited number of semux to BTC holders. The snapshot has been taken at block #480,000; participants need to sign with their private key to claim the rewards.  The final ratio and amount cap per address will be announced on Dec 1, 2017.
