I still don't understand with the financial resources they have, they insist on running it like amateurs. I think Tux needs to cash out his coins and just let a professional run it for him.
Simple fact: Businesses often scale faster than infrastructure.
They are trying to hire more people but as someone who has been involved in hiring ＩT staff many times over I can tell you it's costly and time consuming. Sometimes so much so that you can have an open req but no time to go through the hiring process. So the way I see it right now Mt. Gox has a choice between going through the hiring process OR fixing things and getting them up and running.
I suspect they are doing the later.
