I've used Coinbase for years. I have had one issue. The issue was more of a misunderstanding than anything else. When I announced I had an issue Coinbase froze my account for nearly 48 hours. They were able to quickly restore my account and they were relatively responsive throughout the ordeal.

I know others have had a lot of complaints about Coinbase, but I believe this is partially due to the fact that (1) they're dealing with people's money and (2) when it comes to bitcoin money, when it's stolen it's gone forever.

Coinbase is a very established and public company. They operate by the rules because they have to (and I believe because they want to).

Faults of Coinbase:

• They haven't been able to scale their service and support to match there demand
• They don't have a Community Manager on this forum, which would help address and alleviate some of the complaining we've seen

Coinbase is a safe/regulated wallet, but you never want to leave your coins on exchanges. Your best bet is to get a Trezor or Nano Ledger.

I think coinbase with blogchain are two of the most popular bitcoin catalogs in the world, but coinbase when you spend a lot of money and costs when you have problems, support is long when the amount of bitcoin transferred from outside into my coinbase wallet and pendding a long time ago through 48 hours the amount of bitcoin has lost 

Coinbase is probably one of the most major platform to buy safely bitcoins.

I would too recommend coinbase among online wallets. But in long run, you'll be paying a higher fees. They don't let you select the fees and pays one of the highest which though make the transactions fast, can be costly in long run.

absolutely yes! its a very safe one. like the other leading bitcoin wallet, coinbase is secure and safe, ive already used coinbase wallet for almost 6 months, and from that moment no one bugs or issue appears while using that wallets. its highly recommended wallets that support a few alt coin inside. so leave all doubts you have about in this coinbase wallet.

I have not used their app, but Coinbase is a legal business and that means if there is a problem you have legal support. I think of them as one of the most trusted exchanges. However, the only truly trustworthy system is to run a node with your own wallet. That is my opinion.

It also may depend on scale. If you have $100 and want to spend it from your phone then an app is great. If you are managing $100K you would be foolish to just leave it at a website for storage. That is also my opinion.

It's safe enough for small amounts of BTC, but if you have a substantial amount that don't want to risk losing for any reason, store it in a more secure off-line or hardware wallet.
