What will you do if some altcoin (XMR or ETH for example surpasses the value of BTC, either in market cap or by the price of a token each? Will you sell your BTC to buy the more "valuable" coin, or continue using and holding BTC? Also, what do you think are the chances that it could happen? I would like to hear your thoughts and opinions.
i think it never happen but similar to bitcoin atleast ,if that will happen i think i will go to high value coin and invest a little in bitcoin then try to be expert in new coin like i search wallet or anything to know the new coins high than bitcoin

What do you understand by the term "Altcoin "? The new coin you're talking about is an Altcoin and so no new coin can be another Bitcoin even if their operations are similar and uses the blockchain as well.
Even there are altcoins or maybe the coins from splits, like BCH will not surpass btc value, btc can recover from downs. Btc will always be the superior among any coins.
