It's not "new", I know about it 6 months already.
Was published today on Slashdot and on this site net-sucurity.org - maybe they are playing catch up but it can never hurt to let people know...
It really doesn't but claiming that it's some new virus that they have found out about is disingenuous, just ask all the people who have lost all of their BTC months ago to the same phishing website.
