As someone who's mining a bit of Bitcoin everyday that sort of prediction get me so hyped. But I would still be mining and holding at a low price too.

Wasn't really investing by that time and maybe that source of OP supplied the wrong info.

6 months is still a large time-frame for crypto holders considering that we are seeing insane volatility in price evry single day. Also, Mayer based his reports in bitcoin's 200 day moving average, which I don't think would be sufficient to come up with bold predictions.

Dingbat Trace Mayer just cherry-picked a bunch of prices that disproportionately represented the tops of bubbles, left out any prices from bear markets, calculated what multiplier these prices represented over the 200 day moving average that lead to those prices, and decided arbitrarily what multipliers were "normal" on the basis of this completely doctored sample.

That's interesting. However, has he ever made any predictions that were at least a little bit accurate? He might just be trying to up the price.

Wow that is good news. However, that is not something that is feasible. Bitcoin's price now is at 5.6K USD it will take a month, maybe more before it breaks through 6k and 27k is a big number. Where will it come from? We all know that currency tend to circulate so in 4 months i was wondering how will we get to 27k and who will be dealing with such huge amount of money in order to reach that price. I would love to have bitcoin at 27k however, realistically speaking it is not possible in 4months. Will keep on holding until the time comes.

It would be pretty crazy if it reaches that kind of price though.. millionaires might turn to billionaires overnight . that is freaking crazy

Five times increase in four months, after the previous rise of a similar ratio in nine months or so? This is very unlikely. I would not be surprised at all by such increase in four years from now, maybe even two, but not in a few months.

The prediction is based only on assumptions, but not on any logical statements or facts that why and how would the price reach there in such a short period of time. Of course we all believe in Bitcoin and everyone of us believe it will have a way brighter future than this, but i don't see Bitcoin reaching that mark so early, unless something magical happens and all the world become a fan of Bitcoin in a month and we see a mass adoption which skyrockets the price of Bitcoin to $20k+. Other than that, i only see hopes to reach there, but no much possibility, not atleast this early as mentioned here.
