You need to be warry about many things. Hackers can swap you firmaware on hardware wallet and stuff like that.
I think there is allwya way to broke in but we don't know those hacks.

If the firmware is tampered with, the wallet will warn you. And I can manually check the signatures myself.

Congrats on a smart choice getting a hardware wallet. They are most secure. Just have to double up, in case of failure, and then store them in separate locations.

Don't be cocky dude, thieves will always find a spot and get into the houses and even your wallet. If you show something like you have money and have the best security system, then it becomes clue to them and they will find blind spot on your system. Moreover, your words seem to challenge them to fight.
So keep it low and don't challenge them.

Its such a pain in the butt the lengths we have to go to secure our fortunes I'm thinking I'm going to need to get one of those safety deposit boxes soon and store a backup of my hardrives and everything in there - or rent a storage locker to hide all my stuff in...

Don't be so confident about having hardware wallets, and conclude that your bitcoin can't be steal anymore, because you are wrong. You never knew who is going to rob at your place, what if the person who are going to rob you is someone who knows about cryptocurrency and just find the hardware wallet of yours that you were saying and didn't steal your fiat buy did steal your bitcoin wallet.

And you don't have to boast here that you have a hardware and said rude things like that, maybe you have been experienced losing your bitcoin, that is why you have said such thing.  

Lol, don't go jinxing yourself now man. It's true that hardware wallets are one of the safest ways to store your coins, and you're definitely safer now than you were ever before, but it would be dangerous to assume you can't be stolen from. Overconfidence can cause certain lapses, and those lapses could lead to your coins being stolen.
