If you invest in Bitcoin you have guaranteed future, other versions are not that popular yet and no one knows what will happen later. It's like PayPal tomorrow decides there will be few more other PP payments: PayPal2.0 , PayPal3.0 and so on. It's risky to say that updated version will have better future. Stick with legit like Reid said.

Other hard fork coin is just the supplement of the original coin. They may not have the real demand as what the btc coin may have it. Probably just to make some quick gains one can buy it and if the price rises of the other coin you can sell it and just keep holding the btc for a longer term.

That is not even a question brother. Why are you bothering about the other " Altcoins ". Yes, they are altcoins and BTC is the only major crypto currency and so you should not be having a doubt about what to choose. Any forked coin is an altcoin and hence it should not be compared with BTC. Don't even try to invest in those altcoins which are forked from BTC because it would probably be just a waste of time as they don't have any potential to rise as much as BTC.

There is no doubt that bitcoin is the father of all these cryptocurrencies and it will remain the same for ever. Because its the unique of its kind. Regarding other bitcoin variations, we cannot predict at this stage which will rise .In my opinion, its not the right time to invest in these bitcoin variations. Just wait for some more time and lets see which is really going to go ahead and then invest in that .

I still choose bitcoin rather than any other cryptocurrency. Other cryptocurrencys need more time to be  succeed like bitcoin. and cryptocurrency commonly known by people is bitcoin

All other forked coins are  altcoins which are thousands in existence so you should only invest in bitcoin (Original chain), forks are normal because there will always be debate within bitcoin community but the one with maximum support will always be known as major chain or original chain.

BitcoinCash,BitcoinGold and all the other types of bitcoin are copies of original bitcoin with slightly improvements. Bitcoin remains the main and original coin wich people will always choose to invest in. Of course the other coins like bitcoincash are going to have a growth of their price,maybe they will double their price or even more,but they will never surpass bitcoin.
