    Problem of idle runs.
    The pendulum principle accounts for up to 50% of efficiency losses in the logistics sector. The problem is that the balance of exports and imports is not respected in subregions. For example, a truck driver delivers a drink from Arezzo to Saloniki but comes back with an empty vehicle because there is nothing to be exported from Saloniki. Thus, charterers usually double their tariffs.

    But...
    The interest in the blockchain and smart contracts is growing as the digital economy enters everyone's life.
    However, their mass adoption is slowed by some inherent conceptual issues.
    Problem:

    Idle without invocation
    Smart contracts can't activate itself without an external call.
    Developers skills
    Serious developers skills are required for contracts creation & deployment.
    Expensive
    Cost of a contract includes costs for deployment & execution.
    Not universal
    Smart contracts work with the Ethereum blockchain only - Bitcoin and other altcoins are not supported

    Control over cargo shipping is exercised on request until the deal is successfully closed.
