They should. They should spend it eventually. They should use Bitcoin as a currency and not as a reserve form of a currency. If you want to continue the main function of Bitcoin as a currency then you should at least use it as a currency. Holding is not bad but Holding it for too long is not good in my opinion. They should at least spend a small part of it. Let's support the Bitcoin System by Spending Bitcoin as a currency.

It doesn't matter at all. It's your call whenever you want to spend it or use it.

They can start anytime i guess. There are a lot of mega holders who I guess do spend them. The problem is till it has not reached some sort of peak and plateaued out, the cost in spending it right now is too much. That is what bitcoin has taught HODLers time and time again.

Those who adopted early and got 100s of them free can talk about it being a currency and some sort of harbinger of revolutions but what about the people who got in at say 2000$, 3000$ and even now getting in at ~8000$. These people are doing it in the hope that it'll hit 100,000$.

They will possibly never spend it for real-world products. For ETH and some other crypto, maybe yes, but highly unlikely to buy a coffee or pizza. (never pizza of course// )

This is a tough question because i think bitcoins price will still go up and up in years and i want to keep all my coins with me as much as possible. I do not spend bitcoin or altcoins unless for trading and fees but to buy things i use fiat. I agree with you  that there will be a point that people will spend their bitcoin but i really think it is still far in the future. Of course people will spend and can  their bitcoin if they want to but i personally think it is not wise to use it since the value of bitcoin will continue to rise. So when ia the time to spend it maybe if all government accepted bitcoin as an alternative currency or almost all bitcoins are mined.

i think holders start to spend bitcoin if they already reached their goals, for example they want to grow their bitcoin into 500% for 1-2 years, after they reached that 500% profits, they just withdraw the amount of bitcoin they have and start spending. then they start again to invest in bitcoin then they set again their goals to be achieve for the another years they want to, like me i set my self to spend my bitcoin after 2-3 years, what ever it takes i will spend it after that. i only have 1 year to come to spend those profits ive earn.

i think holder will spend their bitcoin when bitcoin high price and sell all their bitcoin and convert it to real money
and waiting to low price then buy again, its called trade
