I'm the developer of Ai-miner (example: ethminer, ccminer).
The program receives tasks from the central service: photo recognition, audio conversion to text, text classification, definition of emotions and so on. These are typical tasks. (examples of services: ibm watson, microsoft cognitive services, anryze, etc)
The payment for the completed tasks goes to the wallet of the owner (bitcoin or ether). Examples: NiceHash.
The first phase (ai-miner): through the central service, but decentralized
The second phase (skynet): special blockchain for ai-s
