What is a difference from SingularDTV? It also was "Netflix on blockchain"

I think a question that should be asked first, is - Who is the content rights holder?
If Youtube/ Twitch are the owners, there's no much point in this.

Most likely not. This will be a blockchain streaming service for movies just like Netflix, Hulu and Prime Video. The concept however is good since it will encourage the content creators to publish here as they would get paid quicker

IMO White Rabbit is very interesting project and will be damanded by the contetn creators as they could earn more with it.
As I realize the project will make a plug-in for major internet browsers that allows you to securely pay for content streamed to your device based on recognition of films or television series that are being watched.
The roadmap on the website says that the Alpha product launch will be in the Q2 2018.
And at what stage is the technical realization of this by now?
