    If by generating, you mean creating them then no, mining is the only way as while trading, you're just buying the coins which got first created by miners but If you mean earning then yeah, you can pretty much do whatever you do to earn fiat.

    There are a lot of other ways through which you can get Bitcoin. Faucets will earn you a few satoshis which are worthless. Investing in ICOs, websites etc.. could earn you big bucks if done properly. Campaigns on this forum such as signature and bounties can get you a good amount of BTC and tokens. You can also earn cryptocurrenies by your skills such as webdesigning, graphic designing, signature designing, logo designs etc...
    There are many ways, try to search out in this forum in the marketplace and services to find out more opportunities.

    maybe earning is a good word to use, and you can do anything to earn bitcoin sell something, open a service with your skill, but if you have no skill or anything just look some airdrop and bounty here

    Here's how it works:

    -You have a skill which you are willing to use for money.
    -Someone wants you to use your skill in exchange for money.
    -You ask for this money to be paid in BTC.

    Don't add any extra steps just because it's BTC.  We're talking about a simple exchange of BTC for goods and services.  You can do whatever you do to earn fiat, provided that someone will comply.

    If the people you find don't want to pay you in BTC, you can always accept fiat and convert it to BTC later.

    You want to earn the bitcoin or generate its how like we do in the bitcoin mining. If you want to earn the bitcoin there are lots of options with and without investment but you have to work hard to show the reputation in the forum to go with the service which is been used a long time alone.
    Lending, altcoin creation, ICO implementation, creating a domain which is based on the bitcoin payment and ethereum based smart contracts. You can use any of these options to invest and make the money.

    As i seen, there is no way method to generate bitcoins else mining or trading. There is way joining faucet gambling games (generate earns satoshi) then free rolling double it to get your lucky. If you want easy earns Bitcoins here, you can joining some Bounty campaign here by using your blog, twitter, facebook account with much follower to promotes it.

    Mining is the only way to generate bitcoins, trading is not generating.
    If you mean, earning bitcoin, then there are other ways too. You can earn by selling stuff, providing services, and also by participating in bounty campaigns here on btctalk.

    I will say stay away from faucets unless something has change recently/theres a good one out there. All my experiences with faucets (bitcoin/altcoins) require a lot of work for a very small reward.

    If you are asking about earning bitcoins,then you could complete jobs in freelancing websites and even by working in signature campaigns,you could earn bitcoins.Faucet sites also provide bitcoins in satoshis but it will be very less.Gambling should be totally avoided as it relies only on fortune and so,you would even lose your total investment.Out of the above methods,signature campaign is the easiest to earn bitcoins.

    Trading and mining is only the two legitimate method to earn Bitcoin. Otherwise you try faucet websites
    But it takes too much time to earn good money. And the 2nd option you try to invest in hyip sites or ico's .

    Yes completely agree.

    Anyone can offer there services and skill to get paid in BTC (If possible). Otherwise service provider can take fiat currency and exchange it to BTC to keep it as investment for future.

    But still mining is the only way to generate Bitcoins, according to process of generation of Bitcoins. All other ways as faucet, trading, minting, sig campaigning and many others are source of earning, where user can only earn bitcoins.
