Did a quick search and NWTM got an F from the
BBB. Most of the complaints were for delays or nondelivery of large silver bullion purchases not coins. There are probably only a few manufacturers in the low volume collector coin industry to choose from. NWTM did do right by Kialara according to the
Kialara blog. Bugging customer service every day, or asking for the dies might make the problem worse. You want the company to believe you will be a repeat customer.
I've not been bugging them at all, I sent one email which Marty replied to (After I was told we would receive the coins within 2 weeks of sending them in). He replied and told me that their Trustee had suspended all of their operations while they were awaiting funding from the new owner and that he'd have no more information for me until next week. This was now 3 weeks ago and I am yet to receive the email from him with the updated information.
I only recently sent the email asking for the dies, we had been talking for a long time about building up the brand with them but while they were very kind and fast in responding leading up to placing the order I have only been disappointed after we received the coins.
Note that no less than 38 out of the 150 coins we made had imperfections, that's a pretty big number and I would expect that when we are paying a small premium to use their mint they could at least do a decent quality control.
