as to ops... Bitcoin is have a lot of usage as you say that it was a currency so people can use it to buy anything. Try to analyze why satoshi invented this new generation currency. As to my knowledge i read that He want to separate the eyes of the governments and banks to the account of a person. He want also to make faster transaction without the approval of the bank. So in his creation things are going bigger, drug dealer and other criminal are taking the advantage of this situation and the new invention. It will not stain the name of bitcoin as you and me and other bitcoiners know whats right from wrong.

We can insist that bitcoin should not be used for illegal activities but there would always be people who would use it because it is easier to send than fiat money and being anonymous would be an advantage to them but then we cannot deny the fact that fiat and other payment options can be used in illegal activities as well so it should not be just mutually exclusive to bitcoin or cryptocurrency so to speak.

Being unregulated, this is always the offense that people speak of who doesn't have an idea to what bitcoin is all about. It is use by criminals and use for illegal activities but then I think fiat is use more for illegal activities. There is some truth to what they are saying but they are only looking one side of the coin. Don't mind those people who are saying bad about bitcoin and just continue to earn from it because you will be the one who will benefit from it and they will be the one who will ask you about it eventually.

negative stigmas always have the tenancy to have more of an impact and stick around longer compared to positive news. unfortunately, most people don't have the ability to see the biased mainstream media for what it is. not to mention, negative news tends to get much better ratings than positive news, with a few exceptions here and there.

i dont think that's the government's first worry, no matter what it is, if it has the potential to be used for crime, people will use it for crime. simple as that. it can be regulated, but you can never police bitcoin enough (or anything really) to stop all criminal activity associated with it.

I think there's not just bitcoin can be used for illegal activity, fiat currency too. And as long as I know fiat currency that used for illegal activity, there's no a big problem. That's also happen with bitcoin. Nothing gonna be a big wrong from that.

Bitcoin can be used anonimously so it become the favorite currency for illegal transactions. But people are already use paper money for illegal transaction tio since long time ago. Its not matter of the medium of exchange but its the matter of people who use it.

And also that is the specific reason that's why bitcoin is illegal in other countries..
