I mined some blocks in the 24192 - 26208 epoch. The difficulty was 14202. I miscalculated, and thought the block rate was 10 blocks hour (6 min each) rather than 6 blocks hour (10 min each) and as a result I mined a little too fast and the difficulty rose to 20975.
I have cut back the GH/s that I am sending to BTE. For the past 24 hours, the mining rate has been about 2.5 blocks hour. This will cause the chain to stay relatively updated, and the difficulty should drop. If anyone flash mines faster after 14 days, the difficulty will still drop. A few people dropped in with huge hash rates and mined a few blocks during the past week, then left again.
I will try to strike a balance of gaining coins & keeping the difficulty low.
I would like to have software that will work with the cgminer API, perhaps in Python, and send lots of hashpower when there is a transaction to process, and then wait for a timeout to send more hashpower.
thank you!~i'm buying all I can off the exchanges while this gem is still wayyyy undervalued imho!=) buy/mine+hold type coin!!
