This is very interesting.
If I understand the power energy system correctly, there is a rechargeable reserve of gas over time.
If users want to process more transactions, or more complex smart contracts, they need to buy more ETZ in order to have more rechargeable power.
Is it possible to have a little bit more examples ?
Let's consider an ordinary user willing to process 2 or 3 transactions a day, for example transfering tokens to another user. Under normal network conditions, which quantity of ETZ on the account would be required to have enough power ?
The article also states : "an account with a balance of 0 receives 0.01ETZ at a block height of 100."
Does it means that users who have no ETZ will receive 0.01 ETZ after 100 blocks, and they will be able to process a few transactions, because accounts with at least 0.01 ETZ begin to produce power ?
Since there are a very high number of ETZ addresses, how does the network knows that an address should be granted 0.01 ETZ ?
Hello thanks for appreciating and making inquiries on the power mechanism it really something cool...
An account must have at least 0.01ETZ to be able to have min power required to make a simple transaction on the network. this amount provides you with enough power volume and power speed which can satisfy a normal user.....
"an account with a balance of 0 receives 0.01ETZ at a block height of 100." :: this was just an example .. Asumming that someone received 0.01ETZ at block height 100 may be from another account.. just trying to show you how all parameters of powers are being calculated.. max power, 'powerspeed' etc.. Team isn't given anyone ETZ for free..
This task are being done by software running on machines what you consider too many is nothing for them.. besides the network has nothing to with an account until that account wants to do react with the network in some way. this greatly reduces the number of addresses to deal with at time.. again to know your power it just suffices for one to know your account balance which is very trivial.
