But as of 12:00 CET (11:00 GMT, 6:00am EST) It started instamining and rejecting the blocks, so there is something up with this, again. Undecided

Yes, there's been another major negative retarget which has broken the network again.

I can refork the chain but it's going to happen again. It really needs a proper fix, ie an updated client.
