You probably know that a 5-10% increase in the cryptocurrency markets barely means anything. It's just the good ol market price volatility. It can easily go up 5-10% today and drop down with the same percentage tomorrow.

Why classify people based on where they were born? You are saying dumbness is defined by borders? I know hundred people on my fingertip who are from fast world cuntry yet people choose them to be intelligent.

You may make a new topic with your this question. Okay, This is not too late for investment. But at first you need to learn and research more about cryptocurrency.  Because sometimes bitcoin will pump hugely and sometimes it will dump badly.So, if you have enough money and if you are looking for safe investment then go for Bitcoin , This is my sugession but decision is yours mate.

Holidays, no speculation to pump the price. So it will glide down.
Action will return in March.
But it will give a chance for altcoins to stabilize and make some sense.

It's nice seeing a good opening to the year, but it still isn't anything significant since it can be considered to be in a "normal" volatility range and still has yet to show whether or not there will be a consistent bull run off of this. I'd be nice to see something larger come out of the new year, and I expect there will be some, if not a lot, good news, but there is still another 365 days ahead of us. Another 1000% increase would be pretty cool if we get to see something like that this year. No-one was expecting for it to happen last year this time.

I think is rather early to start judging a coin with a first bump of the year for it could be as a result of the outcome of last year . It might be deceitful and jumping in could tie one's investment before the correction is completed for another journey.

a tiny bit of rise or a fall of same size is not something to make a topic about in my opinion. it is just bitcoin fluctuating and it is holiday season in most part of the world so with that in mind you can not really expect big things out of the market anyways.
these rises are simply happening everywhere, the size is a little bigger (usually 5% or so) in bitcoin because that's just how bitcoin market works when it comes to volatility.
