No one is mentioning that ripple is being accepted widely by banks as a payment method (for whatever reason I don't know).
nobody mentions it because they are not accepting bitcoin "widely".
there are some banks behind the project that "Created" ripple so obviously some of them may accept it. but it is worth mentioning that at least 2 of the already left ripple and started their own version of it and stopped being involved with it in any form.
All what you said is true, it is centralized, it is not anonymous nor private among other disadvantages.
these are not small disadvantages! these are the basics of any cryptocurrency.
Unfortunately people are ignorant to what makes a really good coin.
something with this many HUGE disadvantages will never go anywhere.
I say it has an equal chance to takeover bitcoin as much as it can fail.
you just say this because you have bought a lot of it and want to become rich. and there is nothing wrong with getting rich from altcoin pumps but spreading wrong information to fool others into possibly buying the bubble and losing money is not right.
