    No, after Arun Jaitley's comment on bitcoins, I don't think JIO coins are going to be a thing.
    Reliance likes to play it safe, it will be stupid of them to launch a crypto coin even when the IT department is hunting down the big crypto investors and finance minister tagging bitcoins as not legal.

    His son might have proposed this idea, but at that time the givt. had no clear stand.
    But now its clear where the government stands on cryptos.They will respect this decision and will drop any such project.
    After all the govt. and reliance are chuddy buddies :v

    No official JIO coin will come Ambani's would instead enter with a blockchain project.

    Jio may or may not create jio coin but it is clear that they are going to use blockchain technology. Each industry becoming fan of this new tech, india should have to allow cryptocurrency along with blockchain in order to improve the economy. At least it should allow crypto mining which can help to get foreign funds.

    JIO coin is not launching. Mukesh Ambani has cleared in a press conference that It is just a fake rumor that Reliance is coming in crypto-business. He said Reliance never had any plan nor planning to launch JIO coin. It is just a rumar created to pump Indian crypto market.
