If it costs 1000 SGD tokens for membership, and there is a total of 3,000,000 SGD tokens being sold in the sale, isn't the theoretical maximum number of members 3000 instead of 3500?
Good question. There are an additional approx. 14% held in reserve. 50% of those are locked for a year, around the time fiat membership initiation is opened at USD$50K, and an equivalent would be burned.
When we reach +90% redemption, whether that's immediately or over time, confirmed members will be asked to vote on whether to close membership forever at the cap or burn the remaining tokens. Members may also propose other possibilities, including opening another level of membership, in which members share in the proceeds. While the vision is to keep Secret God very small, there are other possibilities since it is decentralized in nature, as discussed in the whitepaper.
