when the price was around 20k we were sitting in a cafe and a man who was clearly uneducated came and bought btc, I should have understand there that I must sell my coins or turn to tether.

Many people investing on bitcoin without proper knowledge about it. That's why we have major price swings because of the panic sellers that are afraid of news about bitcoin breakdown that is out there.

Yes, Too dangerous to invest in the cryptocurrency market without knowing it. Do not lose your money because of a serious mistake. Mistakes can ruin people over time. So take some time to properly understand the crypto market as well as the knowledge and experience to get started. Take the wisdom out of this market.

It's a good idea to have knowledge of what you want to invest in. You have to know and understand how it works. If you didn't you might waste your investment.

Yes, many people are investing in bitcoin. But they know nothing about bitcoin. When some people tell them that they can get a lot of revenue from investing in bitcoin, they take out all their assets and invest in bitcoins. They don't know what to do when they lose money on their investments.

And it is not like that, bitcoin is the easiest way or form of investment that I have encounter in my life, I don't think that people won't know such thing, for sure that they will gonna understand this easily, the question would be how much they are willing to invest and for how long they are willing to wait.

If you buy bitcoin just for long-term investment, then you do not need much knowledge. You only need to properly store your cryptocurrency. But if you want to earn a lot on it and regularly, then you need to know a lot of information.

I agree to you, there's really a hype in every social media's today about the growth of cryptocurrency and some people are just investing immediately without any background knowledge about how the cryptocurrency really works and how you are going to earn profit so in the end of the day they are going to lose a lot of profit when their coins are melting.

Maybe what he was trying to say is that before you will do and entrusting your money here in cryptocurrency you should have at least some basic knowledge about what you are entering at, indeed bitcoin really a simple thing and I know people will easily to cope up with it.

Or at least understand bitcoin to the point where you can respect it as a viable technology that has a real future, so you are more likely to hodl and ride out the nasty dips.

I agree with you to that. you can't invest in something you don't know about. if you're going to do that, you're just wasting your money and effort. Make a research and learn more about bitcoin before you invest. it's better to be safe and smart than to be impulsive.
