    The best thing to do is to save it on bitcoins instead of other altcoins. Because the people that will post in your thread will just say random coins that mostly shitcoins so it's better that you do that research by yourself.

    I think your best investment can be by way of investment in coin which you think can provide very much profit and the coin has a very limited total supply so for better you invest by buying as much bitcoin as you can.

    i think that you can invest in different ICOs but in my opinion is better to go on a exchange and buy right now some altcoins like lisk or whatever altcoin you know that it will increase a lot in the near future. It's a good time to buy altcoins cause Bitcoin decreased and now it's about 6500-6900 USD (depends on what exchange you use) so yes you have this opportunity , but you have to know that there is an risk

    Not only supply matters but also whether a coin has got any unique advantage compared to other coins.

    yes, choosing bitcoin as the investment is the best thing that we can do because the altcoin cannot increase so high in the future and only bitcoin that can do this. so if you really want to have the best investment in cryptocurrency then you need to have bitcoin as your main investment and don't choose the other coins which you don't know when it will increase. but if you can research by yourself like above me said, then you can analyze one by one of the altcoins which can spend a lot of time before you can find one or two altcoin that could be good for the investment.

    i dont know what is short term for you. tomorrow or 1 year. crypto is in reaging mode at the moment. boom might happen today or next year. if crypto is not the future technology than it might never happen again. But yet again if you invest in wrong coin maybe even hyper boom will not help you much. make analyze and invest.
