Blockchain allows data to be encoded, therefore increasing cybersecurity. For example, in financial services, Blockchain ledger is used to encrypt the records of trade processes to reduce errors. Also, Blockchain is considered the Internet-of-things which promote smart appliance and supply chain sensors. From that you can see Blockchain has a big potential and it will certainly run well without Bitcoin.

I think Crypto must have a new revolution in addition to hanging on a coin like Bitcoin, because the existence of a new coin has good management and an orderly allocation that makes investors assume the opportunity to achieve the desired thing. Blockchain system is made for faster peer to peer transaction and has a lot of benefits which can help certain companies when used, and the first one to apply blockchain technology is bitcoin. Using it made it a lot easier for users to tracked all their transactions, and in addition that its nature was decentralized, made it a lot more simple to use.
