    Blockchain can survive without bitcoin because you can use it also to hold your altcoins or other crypto currency (such as ethereum, Litecoin, eo coins, etc.) Bitcoin have a large part in blockchain but it can survive even without bitcoin. Blockchain is the most digital wallet used by the people who have bitcoin.

    Of course blockchain will survive even without bitcoin, because blockchain is great technology, bitcoin is one of the success stories about blockchain network, although without bitcoin blockchain can make other coin coins with the sophistication of the technology.

    I think Bitcoin and Blockchain can not be separated like soul and body.
    But without Bitcoin blockchain technology can still be used.
    Because Blockchain is the core of Bitcoin and can run on its own.
    otherwise without Blockchain Bitcoin will be garbage.

    I believe there'll come a time where many industries will adapt Blockchain.

    Yes blockchain ill survive without bitcoin. Just like people said bitcoin is just one of its many projects. If bitcoin did not become this big then maybe another would be. Although we can't deny how bitcoin influenced and changed everything. Bitcoin has indeed become one of the major players.

    Blockchain's survival without Bitcoin will not be easy at all because Bitcoin serves as a strong hold for the Blockchain technology. People have trust and confidence in Bitcoin, hence the absence of Bitcoin will lead to withdrawal of many investors which can cause a massive dip in the crypto market volume.

    Absolutely blockchain can survive without bitcoin, but as the first cryptocurrency with a powerful brand image, the destruction of bitcoin would portend possibly years of a bear market due to loss of confidence. However, I think bitcoin is here to stay.

    Yes, I agree with you, but without bitcoin there will be chaos, might be many cryptocurrencies lose their value, I can't even think how will change blockchain when there is no leader of cryptocurrencies

    For my own opinion, i think it can survive. There is a lot of altcoins exist in the market and ethereum is one of the most popular altcoin. Unlike bitcoin it has a big price and we all know that having bitcoin is can really survive.

    Bitcoin is just a product of Blockchain. Blockchain will survive without Bitcoin or any coin but those coins won't survive without blockchain. Even banks are now studying blockchain for using in banking services and transactions.

    Blockchain and bitcoin are inseparable perfection, without blockchain bitcoin will be weak, and without bitcoin, blockchain will become weak as well. They can not be separated, because if they are separated will become weak and will not survive.

    Yes I think so, there are many ways for blockchain to survive even without bitcoin, aside from bitcoin there are other coins too and others that can help sustain blockchain but off course we can't really deny the importance or the role of bitcoin to blockchain

    I understand that BTC and Blockchain are closely related, but I think their relation is a one-side traffic, i.e. BTC IS dependent on Blockchain, while Blockchain isn't dependent on BTC.
    So, Blockchain can survive without BTC and not vice versa, IMO.

    Blockchain would definitely survive without BTC. Because the main method of transaction  Bitcoin is Blockchain Technology. But bitcoin has made blockchain popular worldwide.

    i think that thing is possible in the future but now Blockchain is hard to exist itself without Bitcoin. Because Bitcoin is known like an intermediate part to do ICO

    very possible, because Bitcoin itself is a name and Blockchain is a network or track path for every Bitcoin transaction. and each Altcoins has its own network, its own network is called Blockchain or Blockexplorer.

    his example is TRON which now turns into Blockchain itself, break away from Blockchain Ethereum (Etherscan).

    of course, block chain doesn't need bitcoin, while bitcoin is nothing without block chain...
    Block chain can be applied to the government so that country finances are clear and transparent to where it flows, or applied to the bank can also...

    If the time comes that bitcoin will reach to an end, i believe that blockchain will be facing a very tough and hard times because its operation will never be the same again in the absence of bitcoin. Thinking about a worse case scenario is very hard for crypto investors, traders and enthusiast as none of alt coins is yet ready to take bitcoin's place.
