BTC is also trustable like ETH. obviously those two are different cryptocurrency they have a disadvantages and advantages but when it comes to trust. i think its up for the users which of the two they like. All cryptos are secured its up for the user how they manage their private accounts.

Personally I have first choice bitcoin, because no one has control over it.No government,No company. I believe them bitcoin is a real crypto currency. investment, trading, mining All the best depends to bitcoin with me. Personally I love them trading and bitcoin always give me trading success Fair.
I also believe them bitcoin ,it will be give me a good life.

Bitcoin is the one being considered first because I think bitcoin was released earlier than ethereum and that its vaue is higher compared to ethereum. I agree with someone who posted here that bitcoin can easily be transacted in the Philippines because I am a filipino too but it is too risky because it does not have private keys compared to ethereum where it can secure itself from unknown user who wants to transact with it. I am alao relieved that on our bitcoin wallet platform from the Philippines called coins.ph is now considering ethereum. It will be easier for us know to receive payments through it.

Probably because it was the first decentralized cryptocurrency (or at least the first one to succeed), which means it had more time to establish itself. This also leads to BTC being on more news outlets than any other crypto, so most people will relate cryptocurrencies with BTC).
Its high value also makes it more attractive more "popular" as an investment. However, just because it is the most popular or has the highest market cap doesn't mean it is the best.

Here we go again about this needless argument about ETH and BTC. They are both wonderful development which I am sure both developers will appreciate the ingenuity of each others if given the opportunity to express such but the problem are those that eventually key into the dream and wants to believe one should be ahead of the other and why. In your case, based on trust which is the reason you are choosing ETH above, its not binding on the community to do same and in determining the top one, its the majority that will have their way.

Yes, ethereum is highly regarded as the smart cryptocurrency wherein it can be programmed into basically whatever you would want to do with it and often heralded as the cryptocurrency that can best and beat bitcoin due to its nature. However one thing that it must overcome first before being able to jump into that number one spot is that it has to beat the value and the monetary i fluence of bitcoin

Ethereum is the least "trustable" cryptocurrency.

First of all bitcoin and eth are two different innovations. They don't belong to the same category when it comes to digital coins: cyptocurrencies and tokens

Bitcoin is for the money(cryptocurrency) while Etherium is for the contracts (token).

I agree with this. There are lots of good reasons why bitcoin is still number one despite its imperfection.

Bitcoin is the mother in all altcoins including ethereum so that bitcoin remains the first with the limitations of bitcoin reaching only 21 million bitcoin while ethereum is alternarive of all altcoin and has no limitations on the altcoins.
