In my opinion, promoting bitcoin is really hard, especially if you're not that good at communicating with other persons, and also if you're just a normal person, it'll be hard to promote it largely. If you're going to promote to your friends, it's still unsure if he will invest, so the chances of attracting people to join or invest are small. I can say that endorsing and promotion are for people who's famous, because it's easy to attract people if you have fans.
Introducing bitcoin to those who are open to put their investment and see the positive side of crypto. Endorsing by popular person might help to attract people but if they do not believe on what is being exist they do not have interest on it. Maybe giving them small amount and make them see how to make it grow and direct withdrawal for their first time being involve in it will make them more interested to have it.
