Bitcoin was invented to replace fiat economy, allow individuals their economic freedom and promote libertarian ideals.

However, people seem to write obituaries and eulogies in repetitive cycles based on the fiat price of Bitcoin.

If Bitcoin is reduced to simply a means to print more fiat money, then it has failed its founding purpose regardless of fiat price.

Bitcoin is still in its infancy. It is too complicated and inconvenient for the masses. Security and usability will determine its success, not fiat price.
