Thanks for the comment MountianConqueror!
Let me tackle this one in few points:
Are kids playing with Crypto?
No, we created Pigzbe to give an extremely easy entry point into the world of cryptocurrencies, for both parents and children. Pigzbe is a financial literacy product, as opposed to a savings product, where children and parents can enjoy a deeply educational experience without having to invest much. Any fluctuation in the price of Wollo wont actually affect the gaming experience, or the learning.
I dont get it, why should kids learn this?
Educating children about money needs to start early. Studies show that, one in four students struggles with the simplest of financial responsibilities. Check out the OECD for more on that:
http://www.oecd.org/newsroom/many-teenagers-struggle-to-understand-money-matters.htmPigzbe is trying to prepare children for the financial system of the future. Cryptocurrencies are something no parent can afford to ignore if they want their children to have a good grip on the modern financial system.
Could kids be scammed? is this secure enough?
The Pigzbe device for kids is only a game controller and notifier. The parent is the primary account holder and the Pigzbe DApp is designed from the ground up to be secure. If you want to read more about the security aspect, please refer to our White Paper here
https://pigzbe.com/pdf/pigzbe_whitepaper.pdf🐽🐽🐽
I mean when I was a kid couple of times I spent my parent's money on different silly things like buying ringtones with an SMS and other obvious for adult fraud stuff that looks "cool" and reliable to a child.
Do you have some kind of parents control over the kid's funds to make sure our children are not going spending their money on scam investments and buying an obvious trash?
I don't want you thinking I'm attacking your project, it looks nice to me, just want to claryfy a few moments.
