There are 5 transactions in the genesis block with a invalid signature. Having invalid signatures in the genesis block is a shame.
But BCNext can't publish valid signatures for those transactions.
Riddle me this: Why can't he do that?

U won't have TF then. I would fork starting from block 47k and then follow all changes related to Transparent Forging. If u fork at block 0, then u have to fix flaws that were already found.

why can;t someone just make a skype call to Cfb from the panel....and hold up the laptop to the mic....he could answer the crowd and could field questions...

that's right. both are capable proving big scale crypto-finance infrastructure
but nxt has a broader approach and also a serious time advantage. nothing bad
against ethereum it is a very nice and logical next step but before they can
compete with nxt they need to speed up several month. i have also the impression
that ethereum released thier concept hastily. if you look at this closer you can
see many holes there, indicates they are for sure aware about the current competion
mainly from nxt. if you see how bitcoinmagazine (buterin) ignored nxt totally
confims this indirectly. atm they are living mainly from names and connections
but people will ask sooner or later for real usage, at this point (earliest summer)
they have to deliver. while nxt can for sure i am not as confident ethereum can
but we will see. the concept (DAC/smart contracts etc) at least is great and has
my full attention but if nxt community can hold the current speed for another 2-3
month the big fish is already freezed from my pov ;-)
