As you may know, the Joys Digital team presented by the CEO Andrey Mikhaylishin and the CVO Vladimir Tolmachov took part in BRICS Business Council and BRICS Business Forum at BRICS Summit.
Both events were held in South Africa. During the Council in Durban Andrey and Vladimir held a preliminary meeting at which they discussed issues of concern to the five countries of BRICS, including the creation of a rating agency and a new independent payment system. Andrey had an opportunity to present Joys Digital at the welcome pitch and made a report together with colleagues on the concept and architecture of the NIPS.
Our concept of creating a New International Payment System found support. The Chinese side noted significant progress for the year, Brazil expressed the desire to cooperate with Joys on that issue, and India demonstrated almost the same approach as Joys.
Also Andrey and Vladimir met in Johannesburg with Mr Gary De Beer, Blockchain Lead of BankservAfrica (PASA). They discussed the NIPS creation issues and defined their roadmap.
In common that business visit to South Africa brought us positive results and made the tendencies clearer. The next step is to create an infrastructure for a test transaction between BRICS countries in national currencies when paying for a purchase using NIPS acquiring.
