I think they will, just have to learn how to minimize the risks of volatility.

Does anyone(coinbase,bitpay,etc) offer a service where you can pay at the point of purchase with BTC and the merchant receives USD?

After the recent attention in the media in the last few months, I would expect definitely a more widespread acceptance of bitcoin in the year of 2014. It doesn't even matter if another crypto-currency wins out in the end, bitcoin will be more widely accepted first because it was the first of its kind to grab the attention it grasped so, and will in the future.

I think it will be more widespread but the likely hood of all malls in general accepting bitcoins seems very slim. I think it will take more than a year for that to happen. Certain stores might accept bitcoins, but the mall itself will likely take a lot longer than a year, probably closer to at least 5 if even. Malls do not even accept Paypapl yet.

Once one store in the mall is accepting them the other stores will start and if that happens we could see Apple start accepting bitcoins via the apple shops in early 2014 so please support please send and email to brookstone

They will have to accept them if every other store in the mall around them starts accepting them It would be bad business not to

Apple is the center of tech for non techies so if they accept it then everyone will think it is ok to buy btc
