Meh, I doubt this will amount to anything or even be used. It's something that companies do to get some hype, and it's going to work for LG due to the fact that people LOVE when they hear comapanies screaming about the blockchain and what they're trying to do to implement it. Nice marketing move, but I don't see them getting any REAL USAGE out of the tech anyway.

I guess we'll have to wait and see.

Similar news from different companies will roll out soon, because companies have begun to realize the true potential as well the growth of blockchain. Already Samsung into mining equipments development and now LG coming up with its own blockchain support with the growth of technology step forward along with the growth of the cryptocurrency market.

With Samsung already in, this is not a surprise. No wonder South Korea is one of the leaders in technology. This country know a good thing when they see one. And their government is there to support it.

I really doubt that they will do have their own ICO though. They are just taking advantage of this technology. And you have to understand that this is not a public ledger but a private one and for their internal used alone.

And its logical for big companies to set up their own blockchain because its very important to have data ready anytime. So it makes sense for them to adopt this technology and somewhat save a lot of money as well.

I hope they fail if this is just like KodakCoin or whatever to boost stock prices. If they are however serious about making something with blockchain tech then I wish them all the best!

I will surprise if they will launch their ico because I don't think big companies interested in our money, they just interested in the technology, money raised in ico is not necessary for them.

I don't think that they are planning to announce an ICO, LG is a huge company so they can fund their own projects. About the news about LG joining the growing industry of companies that are implementing blockchain technology with their services or businesses, I think this is a good news but I'm not gonna expect that this thing will be a big thing. The main goal of this monachain is to help businesses to boost their productivity but what is the purpose of this if different companies can just create their own blockchain based platform or system. right? For me, if I own a company I would rather choose to create my own blockchain based system even it will cost me a lot than trusting other company with my system.

I see today many companies are using the blockchain system, this is a good development. LG has excellent product quality, especially electronics.

so, I think LG service will make customers more satisfied and comfortable.
