With the recent news that overstock.com will start accepting bitcoin in the coming months we all have a great oppturnity to see other large merchants start doing the same. If overstock is able to pull it off and stick with it, other larger companies (and small) are likely to follow. Once overstock starts accepting bitcoin I'd highly suggest everyone in the community make some purchases to support it and allow both overstock and other companies see that it's a good thing.

If overstock accepts bitcoin and then down the road realizes its too much of a hassle, then that will have an impact on other larger merchants wanting to do the same as well.
