I was wondering what you guys think about the news that were released a couple weeks ago.

"Peter Thiel, the founder of PayPal and early investor in Facebook and Spotify, has an eye for finding big ideas and watching them grow. Now Thiel has invested $1.25 million of his $1.5 billion into the Seasteading Institute, a Libertarian group inspired by Ayn Rand's Atlas Shrugged that aims to build experimental floating societies in international waters."

The idea of a high-tech society a lá Bioshock/Daemon/Freedom (the last two are books by Daniel Suarez if you guys are wondering) is quite interesting, especially for us, bitcoin users.
One would expect that a new society like the one proposed will use a new currency like the Bitcoin.
Thiel is no fool, he has something up his sleeve, and I'm wondering what it is, guys I would like to know your opinion on this topic; and yes, I know we all dislike paypal to some level, but still, keep your opinions regarding that to yourself, the topic is another here.

    Cheers,
