There is an important security issue involved. If I use the hosting computer to mine the coins, if someone copies copies of my wallet backup files, does it mean that my wallet is insecure and is being transferred to my balance?

PoS blocks are the same as PoW blocks for reward, currently 384

historically PoS has been running at about 47% of PoW blocks

Yep. For PoS success you should have matured non-coinbase coins (i.e. coins that you can spend) and these coins should be kept in your wallet more than 150 blocks.

p.s. Also important to start komodod with

-gen -genproclimit=0

for staking only and

Code:

-gen -genproclimit=x

, where x is number of your cores for mining + staking. Remember, if generate is false - you can't stake.

You can download zcash param manually. Download two files:

https://z.cash/downloads/sprout-proving.key
https://z.cash/downloads/sprout-verifying.key

And place it in %APPDATA%\ZcashParams folder, then start Agama.
